Mount Adams North Ridge

The lesser climbed North Ridge route of Mount Adams in mid-summer. A more remote climb, with a bit more exposure, in order to beat the crowds. This ascent did not disappoint!

A long drive from Seattle for a quick overnight takedown of the Mount Shasta summit, with perfect conditions! Although, I am not sure I would ever drive this far again for such a short, albeit efficient, summit attempt.

It was an interesting decision to make this my first Washington volcano summit attempt. I witnessed some of the biggest crevasses to date, one of which included a 60° double-ladder crossing, and experienced some serious altitude sickness.
